About the Role: The Strategic Closer

Secure Yeti is looking for a high-performing Account Executive (AE) to lead our sales efforts and manage the full deal cycle. You aren’t just a closer; you are a mentor and a strategist. You will work hand-in-hand with a dedicated Business Development Representative (BDR), taking an active role in their professional growth while leveraging your own network and hunting skills to capture market share.

In this role, you must be a proven practitioner of the sales craft, someone who understands that in cybersecurity, we aren’t just selling services; we are advocating for the client’s safety and validating the hard work of their internal teams.

What You’ll Do:

  • Strategic Market Penetration: Scale Secure Yeti’s footprint across SME and Enterprise segments by delivering high-impact services, including Penetration Testing, Gap & Risk Assessments, and vCISO support.
  • Full-Cycle Ownership: Manage the entire sales process from initial discovery through to closing, utilizing MEDDPICC to ensure deal integrity and forecasting accuracy.
  • Hybrid Prospecting: While you will be supported by a BDR, you enjoy the hunt. You will proactively engage your existing network while identifying new opportunities.
  • Mentorship in Action: Bring your BDR into active calls, providing them with front-row seats to complex negotiations and helping them develop into future AEs.
  • Collaborative Strategy: Partner with our technical delivery teams to ensure our solutions solve real-world problems for the customer.

 

What You’ll Need:

  • Proven Closing Excellence: A documented background of closing SME to Enterprise deals. You should be prepared to walk us through your top three deals, their sizes, and your specific MEDDPICC application for each.
  • Industry Expertise: Specific experience selling Fin, Health, FinTech, Cyber-Insurance, or GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) software/services.
  • The “Trusted Advisor” Persona: The ability to conduct high-level conversations with C-suite executives, presenting yourself as a knowledgeable partner rather than a transactional vendor.
  • Adaptive Growth & Versatility: A coachable mindset with the agility to step into cross-functional roles as the business requires.
  • Leadership Engine: The desire and ability to grow into a team leader and manage the professional development of junior sales staff.
  • High EQ & Resilience: The ability to build immediate rapport and remain tenacious in a complex, high-stakes sales environment.
  • Security Foundation: A deep understanding of Offensive/Defensive security, network layers, and the modern threat landscape.
  • Compliance: Ability to pass a federal background check, drug test, and credit check.

Compensation

Secure Yeti LLC is committed to rewarding top performance. The compensation for this role is $150,000 – $180,000 OTE (On-Target Earnings), under a quota commission structure designed for high-earning potential. Position compensation is subject to skillset and experience.
